Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using CBK Alert, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. You must be legally able to enter into an agreement to purchase a subscription.

Informational purposes

CBK Alert provides college basketball news, rankings, roster information, and lineup projections for general informational and entertainment purposes. Information may change and is not guaranteed to be complete, current, or error-free.

Projections and opinions

Projected rosters, starting lineups, bench rotations, rankings, and analysis represent CBK Alert's research and opinions. They should not be treated as official announcements from a player, team, school, conference, or the NCAA.

Accounts and security

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and take responsibility for activity through your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may restrict or suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten the security of the website.

CBK Alert+ subscriptions

CBK Alert+ is an optional paid subscription that provides access to designated premium website features. The current monthly plan is $5 per month, as displayed at checkout. Any applicable taxes or changes to the offered price will be shown as required before purchase. Available premium features may evolve over time.

Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe, our payment processor, to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees according to the terms presented at checkout. CBK Alert does not receive or store your complete payment card number.

Cancellation and billing

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing management option on your CBK Alert account page. Canceling a subscription stops future automatic renewals. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, access to paid features continues until the end of the period already paid for.

Deleting your CBK Alert account cancels any subscription that our system can verify as belonging to that account. If billing records cannot be verified automatically, account deletion may require assistance from support. If you have questions about a charge or cancellation, contact us using the email below.

Refunds

Subscription charges are generally nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law or where CBK Alert agrees to issue a refund. Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund a previous payment. Contact us if you believe you were charged incorrectly or have a billing concern. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Comments and submissions

If you post comments or submit information, you are responsible for that content. Do not post unlawful, threatening, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or spam content. You retain any rights you hold in your submissions, but grant CBK Alert a nonexclusive license to display and operate them as part of the website. We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms or protect users.

Account deletion

You may request account deletion using the option on your account page or by contacting us. Deletion removes your account access and associated account records from our authentication system. Some public comments may remain with the author name replaced by "Deleted User." Certain billing, transaction, security, or legal records may be retained when necessary or required by law. Permitted use

You may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not scrape, copy, republish, sell, reproduce, or distribute substantial portions of the website or its database without prior written permission from CBK Alert, except where applicable law permits such activity. You may not attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with the website's operation.

Intellectual property

Original CBK Alert branding, graphics, written analysis, rankings, page designs, compilations, and other original content are owned by CBK Alert unless otherwise stated. Team names, logos, player images, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners.

Third-party links and services

The website may contain links to third-party websites and uses outside services, including Stripe for payments. CBK Alert does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, or privacy practices.

No warranties

The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CBK Alert disclaims warranties regarding the website's accuracy, reliability, availability, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CBK Alert will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the website changes. We will update the effective date when changes are made and provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
