The story behind the brand
About CBK Alert
Independent college basketball coverage, rankings, and roster research built for fans of the game.
Luke Girvin
Founder & Creator of CBK Alert
I started CBK Alert out of a passion for college basketball and a desire to share news, analysis, and stories from across the sport. What began as a social media account has grown into an independent platform dedicated to covering all of Division I basketball.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Communications from Kentucky Wesleyan College, where I developed skills in media and storytelling that I've continued to build on through CBK Alert.
My goal is to make college basketball easier to follow by bringing fans closer to the teams, players, and stories that shape the game.
