Accounts and profiles

If you create an account, we process information such as your email address, account identifier, authentication information, and membership status. Supabase provides our account authentication and database services. We use this information to provide account access, manage memberships, and support website features.

Subscriptions and payments

CBK Alert+ subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment and billing information under its own privacy policy. CBK Alert receives information needed to manage your subscription, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status. We do not store your full payment card number on our website.

Stripe may retain invoices, transaction records, and other billing information after a subscription is canceled or a CBK Alert account is deleted, including where required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-related purposes.

Comments and submissions

If you post comments or submit information through website features, we may store the content you provide and information associated with your account. Public comments may be visible to other visitors. Please avoid posting sensitive personal information in public areas of the website.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand website traffic and usage. This helps us improve the website and its content. Analytics information is generally reported in aggregate rather than as individual visitor profiles.

CBK Alert does not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers as necessary to operate the website and may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the website, or legal rights. Content you choose to post publicly may be visible to others.

Account deletion and retention

You can request deletion of your account using the Delete Account option on your account page. Deleting an account cancels any subscriptions associated with the account that our system can verify and removes the account from our authentication system. Existing comments may remain visible under the name “Deleted User.”

Some information may be retained where necessary for security, legal compliance, billing records, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes. If you have trouble deleting your account or have a privacy request, please contact us using the email below.

Advertising

CBK Alert may introduce advertising in the future. If we begin using advertising services that collect information through cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and provide any additional notices or choices required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website and its services change. The effective date above will be revised when we make material updates.
